Curly Roots Magazine Covers

This project was completed throughout the course of my Advanced Illustration class. I had to create a series of four projects for a specific illustration field. I chose to draw seasonal magazine covers (editorial illustration) for a fictional natural hair care magazine called Curly Roots. With Curly Roots, I wanted to represent African American women with natural hair, which is a group that is not often seen in the illustration field.
